Rising Together places women and girls at the centre of efforts to prevent gender-based violence and build safer, more inclusive communities in West Pokot.
The project connects empowerment, rights awareness and community engagement so that women and girls can participate meaningfully in decisions affecting their lives. It also strengthens dialogue with families, local leaders and other stakeholders whose action is essential to lasting change.
Through this partnership, CICR is advancing community-owned approaches that protect dignity, amplify women’s leadership and create stronger pathways towards equality.
