Our story

CICR was founded in 2019 to advance the rights and wellbeing of indigenous children, women and families. Our work grew from community conversations about protection, harmful practices, access to water, education and resilient livelihoods.

We continue to build solutions with the people most affected—connecting lived experience, indigenous knowledge and accountable partnerships.
